It's a tough and dangerous job

Total Tree Care

We believe that proper tree care goes beyond just pruning, and that healthy trees live in healthy soil. A tree's health and wellbeing are a direct reflection of it's relationship to its environment, both above and below the soil line. Therefore, our arborists here at Roots To Canopy look at all environmental factors on your property when assessing and determining a plan of care for your trees.

Unlike most tree care companies that only use "arborists" for sales purposes, here at Roots To Canopy, we guarantee every job will have an arborist performing and supervising the care of your trees, as well as a paramedic on site. To date, we are the only tree care company in North Texas that can say this.

  • Pruning (structural and developmental)
  • Cabling and Bracing
  • Disease Treatment and Prevention
  • Integrated Pest Management
  • Injectable Fertilization
  • Aerial Canopy Inspection
  • Mulch Ring Instillation
  • Removals and Stump Grinding

While you may see it often, heavy careless pruning by underqualified crews is not only detramental to the tree, but also to your pocketbook. We aim to keep the tree's natural shape, while pruning for aesthetics, safety, and the overall health of the tree in accordance with ANSI A300 pruning standards.

Unfortunately here in North Texas, we typically have poor soil composition, which is easily compacted by residential development. This compacted soil is responsible for poor drainage and lack of root oxygenation. At Roots To Canopy, we have several methods of creating preffered soil conditions for your specific tree type.
